We all want to become rich. Well, at least most of us who get into some kind of business do. So, what do we do? Do we just open up a shop or internet business and the money flows in like water. Only for the extremely lucky few who just happen upon a niche which no-one has ever thought of. Does that happen nowadays? You tell me.



No. What we tend to do now is to get as much information as possible in order to learn whatever business it is we want to get into. Unfortunately for a lot us, we get the information and start to study..and study and study. With all the studying going on we forget that we actually need to DO as well. We forget that we need to put into action what we are learning.



Please, don't get me wrong. Learning the business is important. In fact, to start a business you don't know anything about without finding out how to do it must be one of the top ten biggest mistakes anyone can make. Study what you need, and learn it properly. Learn it inside out if you have to but PUT IT INTO ACTION.



Don't be like Walter Mitty. Don't just think about what it is you want to do and then just dream about the success you COULD attain. If you do, then one day you'll just...wake up. And you'll have nothing but your books.



I see a lot of people asking, through emails and on the forums, how do the gurus make so much money while I am still struggling after months of trying?



My question is, how many gurus do you find on the forums? Yes, they do come on once in a while but, how often? I used to go on the forums and try to read every single post, hoping to pick up some secret that someone is using. You know what? There is no secret.

The only secret is that these gurus actually DO while we ask how?. My question is not how? but when?. When are we going to stop asking and get off our behinds and do something about it. When are we going to stop buying more and more study material, making the gurus richer, and start becoming rich ourselves?



There are certain steps to take along the way while you're picking up your business. Do them. Carry out those steps AS YOU LEARN. Don not wait to master the subject and then begin. Certain businesses, such as online, internet businesses, allow you to do your work and make some money along the path of learning.

Remember, it is good to dream of the things we want but we must follow it up with action. Dreams without action are fruitless but, when followed by action, dreams are priceless.

Learn a bit, do a bit, earn a bit. Until one day you will find that you know a lot, you're doing a lot and you're earning a lot.
